Woke up to birdsong, a lush green scenic beauty, and a soul-quenching peace. How? Let me take you on a tour to the depths of the pristine beauty of Jibhi, Himachal.

Enveloped in the heart of the wilderness, Jibhi is situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Famous for its close connection with serenity, it is the perfect place for disconnecting from stress and associating with composure.

Let’s buckle down on my entire journey experience to Jibhi Tirthan Valley, the places I stayed in, my whole itinerary, mouth-watering eateries, and my most favourite part of the trip.

From Delhi’s Hustle to Jibhi’s Hush

Delhi to Jibhi Himachal Pradesh

I was venturing through the crowded lanes of Delhi when a sudden urge to disconnect from city life came about. Taking a glance at the mess I was standing in, I decided to casually look at the places to visit in India to reconnect with nature. That is when I landed in Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh.

With the maximum research in the minimal time, I started my journey from Delhi to Jibhi. During my little exploration, I found out this is the exact location where Yeh Jawani hai Deewani was shot, and my decision got even firmer.

I searched for the Delhi to Jibhi distance. The distance is around 500 km, which accounts for an 11-hour journey by road via NH44. However, there are many other ways through which I can reach Jibhi from Delhi. I looked up Jibhi temperature, and my voyage to the Jibhi valley started.

Let’s take a look at the routes, just to be clear about it.

Are you ready to get on with it?

The Jalori Pass Route: My Scenic Drive to Jibhi

Jalori Pass Route

With the advent of our journey to rekindle with ourselves, my excitement took another turn! As I was travelling by road, I made sure to look around and enjoy everything my eyes fell on. Navigating every route turned out to be much easier than I anticipated.

There are two routes to Jibhi by car:

  • One that takes you via the State Highway 13 (or the Mandi-Manali Road) until the Aut tunnel and bifurcates at the Tirthan valley, finally, you can take the smaller road to Jibhi. This route is easy to drive and navigate (recommended by Google), and remains open all year round.
  • The other route is extended and remains closed during winter. This route connects Delhi-Chandigarh-Shimla-Jalori Pass-Jibhi, making it complex and confusing. This route adds an extra 3 hours to your estimated journey, making it a 14 to 15-hour journey.

I chose the prior route and reached promptly. However, there are other ways to reach your dream holiday destination, Jibhi Tirthan Valley.

Let’s start cruising the other ways to the heaven of Himachal Pradesh called Jibhi.
